These studies were conducted a1 University of Agriculture, Faisalabad during the year 1999-2002. Correlation between seedling traits, morphological traits and among seedling and morphological traits of brassica was studied under drought conditions. According to the results root length, fresh and dry root weight showed positive correlation with yield; fresh and dry root weight with secondary branches; plant height with siliquae per plant, yield per plant, primary branches secondary branches and oil contents; primary branches with secondary branches, days to fruit bud and yield per plant; shoot length, root length, dry root weight with secondary branches; water contents with days to first bud. maturity and reproductive period; oil content and plant height with yield. Negative correlation between reproductive period and yield, which developed early flowering and early maturity proved very useful correlation. These two traits may help incorporate drought avoidance in genotype.
